A New Way to Walk the Ledge

Not everyone has the time—or the quiet—to sit down and read a full post.

Sometimes you are driving to work, cleaning the house, working with your hands, or simply trying to make it through a difficult day. The time may be there, but the attention required to sit with a screen is not.

That is why Standing on the Ledge has begun introducing podcast episodes.

We are currently revisiting and adapting some of our existing work so that it functions better in an audio format. Writing meant for the page does not always flow naturally when spoken aloud, so some pieces need to be reshaped slightly—without changing the experiences, lessons, or tools at their centre.

And no, the written work is not disappearing.

The articles, series, and written resources will remain available. The podcasts are being added alongside them, giving people another way to engage with the work. This is an expansion, not a replacement.

Some people absorb information best by reading it. Others need to hear it spoken. Some may read a post when they have time and listen to the podcast version while travelling, working, or trying to settle their thoughts at the end of the day.

The purpose of Standing on the Ledge has always been to meet people where they are—especially when life has left them without much time, energy, or attention to spare. Making the work available in more than one format is another step toward doing that.

The ledge has not changed.

We are simply opening another way onto it.

You may find the podcasts under the category “Podcast Episodes” and here as well https://pocketcasts.com/podcast/standing-on-the-ledge/47948b60-84ec-013f-0b89-0e8bb91d6a85

Godspeed, fellow ledge walkers.
